Arent Fox represented Choice Hotels in negotiating a joint venture agreement with an Och-Ziff Capital Management affiliate, and in its acquisition of Suburban Franchise Holding Co., which added 67 properties and nearly 9,000 rooms to its portfolio. The firm also represents Choice in mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments that it makes with franchisees and developers, as well as Choice’s own senior credit facility with institutional lenders.
