Assisted in Obtaining Congressional Support and Legislation for the Exchange of Non-Surplus Property at Fort Sheridan

    Successfully represented a development team in obtaining congressional support and legislation to authorize the exchange of non-surplus property at Fort Sheridan, a historically significant former Army base located north of Chicago that was selected for closure in 1988. Subsequently provided advice on homeless, environmental, historic preservation, interim leasing, base transfer issues, and the redevelopment of the National Historic Landmark District.
