Represented the owner of a portfolio of ten hotels in connection with a recapitalization of the portfolio and the admission of a major joint venture/equity partner.  This transaction included, among other things, complex issues relating to REIT laws, tax issues, loan restructurings and a variety of other issues not typically associated with a “typical” joint venture transaction.
