.EU Sunrise Period Opens Dec. 7 to Trademark Holders for Special Domain Name Registration
The new .eu Top Level Domain (TLD) opens on December 7, 2005 only to trademark holders for a special domain name registration period.
The .eu TLD is the European Community equivalent to the .com TLD. This special registration period is unique and will not be offered again.
During this special registration period, trademark holders will have the opportunity to register their trademarks and brands as domain names before the .eu TLD opens to the general public. This is a great way for trademark holders to secure their presence in the European Community and to prevent loss of desirable domain names to cybersquatters.
Arent Fox has negotiated bulk transaction discounts with a registrar based in the U.S. that is .eu accredited. This registrar is offering Arent Fox special pricing on priority domain name registration queues for critical and essential trademarks and brands.
