The Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 2010 — A Comparison of House and Senate Auto Safety Bills
On June 9, 2010 the Senate Commerce Committee approved S. 3302, the “Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 2010.” The House Energy and Commerce Committee approved its version of the legislation on May 25, 2010. With Committee work completed, the next step for each bill is consideration by the full Senate and House, respectively. Changes to the bills are still possible in the form of amendments when they are considered by the respective legislative bodies.
