Arent Fox partner Harry Johnson has issued the second of a series of video Legal Alerts titled After Hours, which will examine general employment law and labor-management issues, especially in California, and their significance for in-house counsel and human resources professionals.

In the second episode - “Unions on the March 2010–2011,” Harry examines both challenges to the labor movement’s membership numbers in 2010–2011, likely union strategies to combat declining membership, and important decisions by the National Labor Relations Board and the California Court of Appeal that make it easier for unions to put pressure on employers. Harry concludes with some advice for employers who may now be at risk.
