American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section’s 2007 Fall Conference
Arent Fox is a program sponsor of the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section’s 2007 Fall Conference, “Ethics and Professionalism in Plea Negotiations: Best Practices and Worst Pitfalls,” to be held on November 2 at the George Washington University’s Marvin Center at 800 21st Street, NW, Washington, DC.
The all-day conference features a number of panel discuss focusing on the plea negotiation process between prosecutors and defense attorneys.
Arent Fox partners John N. Nassikas and Baruch Weiss will be panelists from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in a discussion titled “The Terms of the Agreement,” which will take a look at the content of plea agreements and debate where terms are fair and unfair.
