Arent Fox partner Janine Carlan will be speaking at the American Conference Institutes Maximizing Pharmaceutical Patent Life Cycles: Paragraph IV on Trial, taking place on November 19-20, 2008 in Helmsley Park Hotel, New York City.

Designed in a “mock trial” format to drill into the details of a realistic Hatch-Waxman case, Paragraph IV On Trial will lead participants through a two-day patent infringement trial between a patentee and an ANDA filer. Expert faculty will address all of the major components of a Paragraph IV case, including: infringement, obviousness, anticipation, secondary considerations and inequitable conduct.
