Arent Fox’s Sports Practice Group Hosts a Forum on Sports and Media Rights

Media rights were once relatively straightforward - a limited number of mainstream sports and leagues and an even more limited number of media outlets. These days it’s a complicated mix of international deals involving dozens of sports, innumerable teams and leagues, and a seemingly endless array of continually evolving and emerging media. For dealmakers, rights holders and buyers, it's become a veritable game of three dimensional chess.

Arent Fox, in collaboration with Gotham Media Ventures, will host a panel discussion titled, “Sports and Media and Rights in a Digital Age.” The discussion focuses on the increasingly complex relationship between sports and media rights. The event takes place December 11, 2012 at Arent Fox in New York, NY. Arent Fox Sports Partner Matthew Pace will moderate the discussion which feature panelists Chris Bevilacqua (Bevilacqua Helfant Ventures), Rich Brand (Arent Fox), Stephen Espinoza (Showtime Sports), and Mike Sheehey (The NBC Sports Group).
