Arent Fox Counsel Ralph Mittelberger will be chairing a panel discussion at the upcoming American Conference Institute’s “Managing Complex ITC Litigation.” Panelists, including senior litigation counsel from Microsoft and Eastman Kodak, will discuss “Litigation Resolution Mechanisms: Mediation, Settlement & ADR” at the ITC. Resolution of ITC Section 337 cases without a final ITC decision on the merits are becoming increasingly important In light of the dramatic rise in the use of Section 337 over the past few years, the cost of litigating these cases, the potential impact of adverse a decision on the merits of the case, and the changing nature of companies bringing these cases. ITC Chair Deanna Okun, three ITC Administrative Law Judges, and other high-ranking ITC officials will also be presenting or attending the conference.
