Arent Fox LLP Speakers at the 7th FCPA & Anti-Corruption Compliance Conference
Arent Fox attorneys Stephen G. Larson and Mary Carter Andrues will present “Managing an FCPA Investigation and Prosecution” at the 7th FCPA & Anti-Corruption Compliance Conference in San Francisco, September 14-16. The conference is a highly intensive, content-driven event that includes case studies, presentations and panel discussions. Speakers and attendees include government officials, in-house counsel and industry leaders from leading organizations operating globally. The Arent Fox panel will discuss:

Stephen G. Larson is a panelist and a partner of the firm’s White Collar and Investigations Practice Group.
Judge Larson has more than 18 years of trial experience, including serving as Assistant US Attorney in the Criminal Division in Los Angeles, where he led 24 criminal trials and received the US Department of Justice Director’s Award for Superior Performance. A respected and accomplished jurist, he served as a US Magistrate Judge and a US District Court Judge in the Central District of California, where he presided over numerous high-profile cases, including the initial copyright and racketeering lawsuit filed by Mattel against MGA Entertainment. He defends clients in complex litigation and intellectual property matters as well as white collar criminal matters, particularly cases involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, whistleblower actions and other matters. He recently served as counsel to one of the defendants in the FCPA case brought against Lindsey Manufacturing and its principals.
Mary Carter Andrues also is a partner in the White Collar and Investigations Practice Group at Arent Fox. She too is a former federal prosecutor and served as Chief of the Public Corruption Section which was charged with the responsibility for investigating FCPA cases in the Central District of California. Mary focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense; internal corporate investigations; international and domestic regulatory compliance and enforcement, including export and FCPA violations. With over 14 years of trial experience and as a former federal prosecutor, Mary understands the anatomy of a government investigation and she is sensitive to the impact government investigations have on corporate clients. She has represented business entities, corporate executives and employees who have been under criminal investigation or criminally charged in both federal and state court.
