Arent Fox’s Kay Georgi will speak at PLI’s Coping with US Export Controls 2011 Seminar. She will present on the topic “Treasury Department Economic Sanctions: Winds of Change Across the Globe,” which discusses the scope and impact of new Libya sanctions, expanded reach of Iran and Syria sanctions, prospects for Burma and Sudan, internet connectivity and the Berman Amendment, new jurisdictional theories in foreign bank cases, and facilitation issues.
