The panel will discuss “The New Multifamily Alternative: Exploring the Rise of Seniors’ Housing and Assisted Living Assets in Multifamily Investor Portfolios,” and address issues including challenges for multifamily firms entering the seniors’ housing space, key differences between multifamily and senior’s in terms of financing, architecture/design and subsequent leasing, and the experience of traditional multifamily investors who entered the seniors’ housing space, among others.
