Arent Fox partner Mary Joanne Dowd will be serving as a discussion facilitator at “Bankruptcy 2007: Views from the Bench,” an all-day joint American Bankruptcy Institute - Georgetown University Law Center CLE conference to be held on Friday, October 5, 2007.

Ms. Dowd will a facilitating a panel discussion on Sales and Executory Contracts from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm. Specific topics will include: use of findings (a.k.a. “how the ‘whereas’ clauses define the deal”); carve-outs; sales free and clear of successor liability claims.
