The Diversity & Inclusion Committee is proud to present Dean Phoebe Haddon as its featured speaker for the upcoming Diversity Speaker Event.

Dean Haddon is internationally recognized for her areas of legal expertise in constitutional and tort law, particularly in the areas of the American education system, jury participation, academic freedom, social bias, gender and diversity. She is committed to the concept that each of us has a public calling to the law.

Among her varied accomplishments, Dean Haddon is also the first African American Dean at the University of Maryland School of Law.
