Arent Fox partner Jon Canis will be moderating a panel at COMPTEL Plus’ Fall 2011 Conference. The panel, titled “Mediation, Complaints and Referrals: What Does It Take to Get Disputes Resolved Before the FCC?” will discuss the timeliness and effectiveness of the FCC’s processes for dealing with federal lawsuits involving intercarrier compensation for wireless and IP-originated services and “stimulated” traffic and whether carriers can reject certain types of messages. The panel will also discuss the ongoing Qwest v. Farmers & Merchants case, the outcome of which will have industry-wide impact.
