Arent Fox partner Brian Waldman will be speaking at a special one-day seminar by the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) to be held on October 11, 2007 at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott in Newark, NJ.

The “Looking Forward in Reverse Logistics” seminar is designed to provide the latest information and analysis on the state of the Rx and OTC reverse logistics industry.

This seminar will bring together industry leaders across the healthcare supply chain, as well as government and public policy experts to focus on the operational, financial and organizational issues and processes associated with managing and reducing the volume and costs of returned goods.

Mr. Waldman’s speech, titled “The Pedigree Landscape: Federal and State,” will focus on current pedigree requirements under the PDMA and the various state laws. Discussions will detail the requirements for returned goods and potential effects on the reverse logistics industry. The discussion will last from 8:30 am to 9:45 am.
