From Behind the Scenes at the 2012 London Olympic Games

Each edition of the Olympic Games produces it own drama, whether it be ambush marketing, legal appeals, ticketing scams or restrictions on athletes. This panel will look behind the scenes from a legal perspective at those stories and the legal background that led up to them. The panel will recap the highlights and legal issues and controversies that arose on the occasion of the 2012 Olympic Games, including Court of Arbitration for Sport cases, and any major international Olympic Committee Executive Board decisions. The General Counsel of the United States Olympic Committee, and the only American arbitrator on the 2012 Court of Arbitration for Sport ad hoc Division will participate in this panel. Other attorneys who were involved in some of those issues will be selected to join them after the conclusion of the Games.
