Obama Administration Officials Gather to Discuss the Economy and Using Federal Stimulus Dollars to Spur Development

    Vice President Joe Biden’s Chief Economist and Economic Policy Advisor Jared Bernstein, OMB Special Advisor G. Edward DeSeve and Assistant Secretary of Energy Catherine Zoi will hold a panel discussion on Thursday, October 14, at 9:30 am at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.

    The discussion will be moderated by Jon Bouker, co-manager of Arent Fox LLP’s Government Relations Group.

    The session will provide an overview of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and other federal economic stimulus initiatives designed to spur economic development. The panelists will provide a candid assessment of the Obama Administration’s economic stimulus programs.

    The session is being held as part of the Urban Land Institute’s 2010 Fall Meeting and Expo.
