Is Your Tax-Exempt Organization Ready for the New IRS Form 990?
Arent Fox LLP and Reznick Group will host two complimentary seminars. The April 3 presentation is designated for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, and the May 1 presentation is designated for 501(c)(6) trade associations, 527 and other political organizations.
Discussion topics will include: overview of changes to the Form 990; corporate governance and compliance implications, including conflict of interest, whistleblower, document retention and audit issues; nonprofit executive compensation issues; fundraising disclosure issues; and insider (“interested persons”) transactions. The April 3 seminar will also include a discussion of tax-exempt bond usage disclosure requirements and noncash contribution issues. The May 1 seminar will include a discussion of enhanced lobbying expenses and political activities reporting and political contribution disclosure issues.
