Arent Fox partner Craig Engle and counsel Brett Kappel were featured in the Politico article “Judge a Campaign By Its Lawyer.” The article discusses both the significance and the implications of hiring legal counsel for a presidential campaign. Craig Engle, who once served as the NRSC’s general counsel, will be representing the presidential campaign of Jon Huntsman, meanwhile Brett Kappel will be representing Ron Paul’s 2012 presidential campaign. The article states, “The selection of a lawyer can reveal a lot about a presidential campaign, not only its ideology but also its strategy and the resources it has to pursue that strategy.”
