    Arent Fox Senior Policy Advisor and former US Sen. Byron Dorgan was interviewed on Tuesday, March 20 on MSNBC’s The Dylan Ratigan Show discussing the federal budget and deficit reduction.

    Senator Dorgan served 18 years in the US Senate and 12 years in the US House of Representatives. He was a member of the US Senate Leadership for 14 years, first as Assistant Democratic Floor Leader and then as Chairman of the Democratic Policy Committee. He was a senior Senator on the Appropriations, Energy, and Commerce Committees in the Senate and Chairman of key subcommittees on Aviation, Energy and Water, and Indian issues. He was a member of the Ways and Means Committee while serving in the House. Before coming to Washington, DC, Sen. Dorgan was elected State Tax Commissioner in North Dakota.
