Partner Dan Renberg Discusses the Export-Import Bank on VoiceAmerica
Partner Dan H. Renberg was a panelist on the Internet radio show VoiceAmerica for a feature on the Export-Import Bank and how it’s currently being influenced by the Tea Party.
The discussion also included Michael Lindenberger from the Dallas Morning News and was hosted by VoiceAmerica’s Mark Toubin.
Mr. Renberg, who served in the Clinton and Bush Administrations as a member of the Export-Import Bank’s Board of Directors, explained that the Bank’s charter may not be renewed in September due to influence from conservatives. He and the other participants elaborated about how the Bank is caught in the crosshairs of a political fight that is part of a larger debate about its influence on the free market system.
