November 26, 2012

Starting December 1, Arent Fox LLP will begin accepting applications from first-year law students for its 8th Annual Diversity Scholarship Program. Three awards, in the amount of $15,000 each in financial support, will go to three minority students who demonstrate a commitment to practicing law at the highest level.

“We are pleased the firm is able to make these scholarships available as one of our many initiatives to diversify the legal profession,” said Chairman Mark Katz. “It is our hope that these deserving students will go forward as leaders in their field.”

Applications will be accepted from December 1, 2012 until 11:59 p.m. on January 22, 2013. The scholarship award includes a position in Arent Fox’s 2013 summer associate program in each of the Los Angeles, New York and Washington, DC, offices.

The Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship Program was started in 2006 and is part of the firm’s commitment to attracting top lawyers from diverse backgrounds. Since its conception the firm has awarded 19 scholarships and recognized 28 finalists throughout the country. Those winning students were selected from hundreds of compelling applicants.
