Arent Fox Advises on Deal to Bring the New York Islanders to Barclays Center
Washington, DC – October 26, 2012 - Arent Fox LLP Sports Practice partners Rich Brand and Steve Cohen served as counsel for the Barclays Center in a deal to move the New York Islanders to the newly opened arena on the corner of Flatbush & Atlantic Avenues.
Arent Fox has been a key advisor of Brooklyn Events Center and the Brooklyn Nets in connection with the Barclays Center from its inception and its representation has included the Barclays Center naming rights transaction, which was the largest arena naming rights and team sponsorship transaction in the history of sports.
