Arent Fox Names 2008 Diversity Scholarship Recipients and Finalists

    WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 11, 2008 – Arent Fox LLP is proud to announce that the firm has selected the 2008 Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship Recipients and Finalists. Each recipient will receive a $15,000 award as well as a position in the Arent Fox 2008 summer associate program, which commences on May 19.

    Our third-annual scholarship recipients are:

    • Kendrea Tannis from Duke University School of Law. Kendrea will work as a summer associate in Arent Fox’s Washington, DC office.
    • Pamela Shu from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Law School. Pamela will work as a summer associate in Arent Fox’s Los Angeles office.
    • Sumit Mallick from University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law. Sumit will work as a summer associate in Arent Fox’s New York City office.

    Arent Fox also recognized six finalists who will receive a $2,000 scholarship. The finalists are: Brandon Gary (Vanderbilt University Law School), Shaimaa Hussein (Georgetown University Law Center), Tejuana Roberts (Cornell Law School), Eva Scott (George Washington University Law School), Robin Suh (Columbia Law School) and Vivian Wang (Stanford Law School).

    The Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship selection process is extraordinarily competitive. This year’s recipients and finalists were selected from a pool of more than 400 applications from across the nation, undergoing a rigorous screening process.
