Arent Fox Names 2009 Diversity Scholarship Recipients and Finalists

    WASHINGTON, DCMAY 18, 2009 – Arent Fox LLP is proud to announce that the firm has selected the 2009 Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship Recipients and Finalists. Each recipient will receive a $15,000 award as well as a position in the Arent Fox summer associate program.

    Our fourth-annual scholarship recipients are:

    • Mikka Gee Conway from University of Minnesota School of Law. Mikka will work as a summer associate in Arent Fox’s Washington, DC office.
    • Elizabeth Hall from Emory University School of Law. Elizabeth will work as a summer associate in Arent Fox’s New York City office.
    • Mary Tanagho Ross from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Law School.

    Arent Fox also recognized five finalists. The finalists are: Heidi Joseph (University of Michigan School of Law), Samhitha Muralidhar (George Washington University School of Law), Jian Jiang (Northwestern University School of Law), Homer Yang-Hsien Hsu (University of Washington School of Law) and Tiffany Hsu, (University of California School of Law, Los Angeles).

    The Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship Recipients and Finalists will be officially recognized at a July 21 luncheon to be held at Arent Fox’s offices in Washington, DC, New York and Los Angeles.

    The Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship selection process is extraordinarily competitive. This year’s recipients and finalists were selected from a pool of hundreds of applications from across the nation, undergoing a rigorous screening process.
