Arent Fox LLP is proud to announce that Robert C. O'Brien, the partner-in-charge of the firm's Los Angeles office, has been selected as one of The 500 Leading Lawyers in America by the publishers of Lawdragon magazine.

Lawdragon's fourth-annual guide to the nation's top attorneys, The Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, sets the standard for the best of the legal profession and includes private attorneys from a wide range of practices, in-house counsel, law professors, judges and neutrals, government attorneys and public interest lawyers.

The guide is selected through a combination of submissions from firms, voting in Lawdragon's online ballot – which received a record number of participants this year – and research by Lawdragon’s editorial staff.

In conversations with Lawdragon staff members, they cited the rapid growth of Arent Fox's Los Angeles office over the past year under Robert's leadership and his work as co-chair of the US State Department's Public-Private Partnership for Justice Reform in Afghanistan as significant factors in their decision to recognize Robert as one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in America.
