WASHINGTON — August 15, 2006 — Matthew J. Clark, the head of the International Trade Group at Arent Fox in its Washington, DC, office, has contributed a chapter, titled “Helping Business and Regulation Work Together,” to a new publication. In it, he offers advice to clients about navigating the complex web of laws that regulate how merchandise moves across international boundaries and is sold in domestic markets. Clark is nationally recognized as one of the most experienced lawyers in the field.

The chapter appears in the recently released book, Inside the Minds: International Trade Law Best Practices: Leading Lawyers on Understanding the Impact of Trade Agreements, Negotiating Import & Export Requirements, and Protecting Business Interests. It is produced by Aspatore Books, a Boston based publisher.

The Inside the Minds publication is an authoritative, insider’s perspective on the complex legal issues companies face when trading across borders. Featuring department heads, group chairs, and leading partners representing some of the nation’s top firms, this book provides a comprehensive overview of trade regulations, including antidumping, import/export controls, investment protection strategies and economic sanctions.
