David Wallace Joins Arent Fox’s Intellectual Property Practice

    Arent Fox is pleased to announce that leading patent attorney W. David Wallace has joined the firm’s intellectual property practice as a partner in its Washington, DC, office. Mr. Wallace’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, counseling, and litigation in the areas of pharmaceuticals (especially Hatch-Waxman litigation), nutraceuticals, organic and inorganic chemistry, polymers, foods, medical devices, and biotechnology.

    “We are very happy that David has joined Arent Fox,” said Wib Chesser, who heads the firm’s patent practice and is based in the firm’s Washington, DC, office. “David’s experience in both patent prosecution and patent litigation will add to our nationally recognized intellectual property practice.”

    Prior to joining Arent Fox, Mr. Wallace was a partner in the Alexandria office of Merchant & Gould PC. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Cornell University. Mr. Wallace also received a master’s degree in natural science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
