Deborah Froling Joins Arent Fox Corporate and Real Estate Groups

    WASHINGTON—April 19, 2006—Arent Fox is pleased to announce that Deborah Froling has joined the firm’s Corporate and Real Estate Groups as a member in the Washington, DC office.

    Froling has extensive experience in public and private offerings of debt, equity and convertible securities as both issuer’s and underwriter’s counsel, primarily for REITs and other real estate companies. Froling has also worked with public and private company clients providing general corporate counseling and advice on periodic and annual reporting and other securities disclosure requirements. Froling also has an active practice in the tenant in common syndication industry and expects to continue representing her clients in that field.

    Froling frequently speaks at conferences and writes on topics such as tenant in common syndications (TICS), securities law issues, non-traded REITs and retention strategies for women. Previously, Froling worked for two national law firms in Washington, D.C., and was an attorney-advisor in the Division of Corporation Finance at the SEC where she examined and analyzed transactional and periodic filings for compliance with federal securities laws, primarily for REITs and syndicated limited partnerships.

    She received her J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America and her B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
