Deborah Randall Published in “Health Law Handbook: 2008 Edition”
Arent Fox partner Deborah Randall has been published in the 20th anniversary edition of the Health Law Handbook, a 700-page book providing insights and knowledge on cutting edge issues in health law from more than 20 nationally known health care attorneys and professionals. This year's Health Law Handbook, published by Thomson Reuters/West, comprises 14 chapters organized into four significant areas in health law today: physician issues, hospital issues, fraud and abuse, and managed care.
Deborah's chapter, “Home Health and Hospice Legal Issues: Reimbursement Changes, Growth and Quality Concerns,” surveys “newly evident fraud and abuse initiatives and offers practical guidance for home health and hospice providers who themselves are now subject both to government report cards on quality and to cost control mechanisms as the popularity of using these benefits expands with an aging population.”
Deborah was one of the authors who contributed a chapter to the very first edition of the Health Law Handbook in 1989 and has had several other chapters published in subsequent editions.
