Silfen Elected to NYIC Board of Trustees
Andrew Silfen, co-chair of Arent Fox’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Group, has been elected to the New York Institute of Credit board of trustees. NYIC was founded in 1918 as the New York Chapter of the National Institute of Credit. In 1957 NYIC was granted a charter as an educational corporation by the Board of Regents of the State of New York.

Silfen has extensive experience in all aspects of financial restructuring and bankruptcy issues. He represents creditors committees, indenture trustees, noteholders, bondholders, lenders and secured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, as well as acquirors of and investors in troubled, distressed and bankrupt companies.
