Adam represents local, national, and international clients in state and federal courts as well as in mediations and arbitrations. Previous Work Prior to joining Arent Fox, Adam worked at a full service international law firm where he handled defense in securities and professional liability actions. He focused on complex business litigation, with an emphasis on securities fraud, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder derivative actions for several industry-leading companies. His prior cases include: Representing board members of an international biomedical testing company in a shareholder derivative action that sought to enjoin a $6.8 billion acquisition by a Fortune 500 medical manufacturing company. Adam was part of a team that successfully mediated a settlement allowing consummation of the deal. Representing board members of an international cancer diagnostics company in a shareholder derivative action that sought to enjoin a $587 million acquisition by a Fortune 500 advanced technology and finance company. Adam was part of the team that litigated and successfully mediated a settlement allowing consummation of the deal. Professional Activities Adam currently serves on the Board of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, Los Angeles Chapter.
