Prior to joining Arent Fox, Grace was an associate in the Labor and Employment and Litigation groups in the Los Angeles office of a multiservice international law firm. While there, Grace was second-chair trial counsel in the defense of a company and its president against charges of violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, in which the judge ultimately granted defendants’ Motion to Dismiss for Prosecutorial Misconduct and dismissed all charges and the underlying Indictments. Grace was also a member of the trial team defending an Internet service provider against claims of trademark, copyright, and trade dress infringement, cybersquatting, trademark dilution, and unfair competition for the use of certain Internet paid search marketing terms.
During law school, Grace served as Managing Editor of the Southern California Law Review and was a Teaching Fellow for USC Law’s Legal Writing, Research, and Advocacy Program. Grace was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Dale S. Fischer, U.S. District Court, Central District of California and a Chinese language Law Clerk for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles’ Asian and Pacific Islander Community Outreach Unit.
Before attending law school, Grace served as a corps member for Teach for America, for which she spent two years teaching in inner-city Miami in an effort to close the achievement gap in the nation’s public schools.
