She concentrates on health care regulatory and transactional matters for a wide variety of health care providers. Annie represents home health and hospice providers, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, long-term care hospitals, dialysis companies, durable medical equipment suppliers, health care staffing agencies, and vaccine and wellness providers. She counsels clients on state licensure and certificate of need requirements, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, federal and state fraud and abuse standards, and corporate practice guidelines. She helps manage regulatory matters related to health care transactions. She also assists clients with compliance audits and the development of corporate compliance programs. Her recent work includes: Managing regulatory matters related to a complex corporate restructuring of a national home health and staffing company. Counseling several durable medical equipment suppliers on DME licensing and the Medicare competitive bidding program. Advising a national vaccine and wellness provider on health care and pharmacy licensing, as well as corporate practice and professional licensing issues. Previous Work Prior to joining Arent Fox, Annie served as production co-director of the nonprofit Center for Community Problem Solving at New York University. She managed campaigns to advocate for better health care for immigrants, to help people with criminal records successfully reintegrate into their communities, and to help low-income populations influence community economic development efforts. Professional Activities Annie is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association, Health Law Section. Life Beyond the Law Annie has traveled extensively and lived in Tokyo for three years. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and listening to music. She is an avid sports fan and keeps especially close tabs on her favorite football teams, the Green Bay Packers and Cal Golden Bears. Annie runs regularly and has completed two Los Angeles marathons.
