Her work focuses on federal investigations, audits and evaluations for clients such as long-term care facilities, nursing homes, and other health care providers. Previous Work Prior to joining Arent Fox, Melissa worked for the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General (OCIG) in the Office of Inspector General in the Department of Health and Human Services. While at OCIG, she provided advice to auditors and evaluators on a broad range of topics relating to the federal health care programs. While in law school, Melissa was an intern at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the Center for Medicare Management, Division of Technical Payment Policy, where she worked on matters relating to the physician self-referral (Stark) law.
