Jury verdict in favor of client on all points. Represented aerospace company in insurance coverage action against seven carriers seeking defense and indemnity for environmental tort actions pending in Tucson. Won summary judgment on insurers’ duty to defend. After three day bench trial, court ruled that 100% of client’s defense costs were recoverable. Obtained dismissal of insurers’ appeals. Represented satellite television provider in putative nationwide and state wide class actions pending in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, and Texas regarding allegedly improper late fees. Avoided certification of class and obtained dismissals through successful enforcement of arbitration clause. Represented aerospace company in insurance coverage case involving coverage for large commercial dispute.
