Kristine regularly counsels for-profit and not-for-profit employers on compliance issues relating to personnel policies, equal employment opportunity, government contractor affirmative action compliance, employee discipline, wrongful discharge, noncompetition agreements, employment contracts, executive compensation, fiduciary responsibility, lay offs, plant closings, fair labor standards, unfair labor practices, occupational safety and health, and immigration matters. She has represented employers in litigation matters before federal and state courts in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland, as well as before federal, state, and local agencies.

Kristine is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.

In 2002, Kristine received the firm’s Albert E. Arent Pro Bono Award for outstanding contribution to the public interest.

Kristine serves as a volunteer sailing instructor for DC Sail, a nonprofit community sailing program located on the Washington, DC southwest waterfront.
