George represents domestic and international clients in the areas of consumer electronic and electro-mechanical devices, medical devices, automotive parts, industrial machinery, and methods of making and using in the chemical arts. His primary responsibilities include patent prosecution and rendering of opinions concerning patent validity and infringement. He regularly counsels clients concerning patenting strategy, product design, scope of competitor’s patent positions, and patent portfolio management. George also supervises the client work performed by chemical, biotech, mechanical, and electrical associate attorneys, patent agents, and staff.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in chemical engineering, George worked as a plant maintenance engineer for a major industrial chemicals company. While earning his law degree, he was admitted to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

George is an active member of the American Bar Association, as well as Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle.

George, in his prior life before the law, was a chemical plant maintenance engineer. He moved to Washington solely to attend law school, met and married a native Washingtonian, Lucia, and has been in the District of Columbia ever since (33 years). He enjoys walking, martial arts, reading, computer gaming, and sleight of hand magic.
