In addition to his general corporate and intellectual property litigation work, Nick has represented other corporate and individual clients in a variety of matters, including labor and employment law, investigations relating to commercial bribery and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and general corporate transactional matters such as corporate formation and planning and drafting related corporate agreements. Nick also has experience in litigation matters concerning trademark infringement and counterfeiting in the retail and fashion industries. Some of Nick’s notable cases include:

• Representing holders of subprime mortgage-backed securities in fraud and breach of contract litigation over misrepresentations about valuation and other attributes of the securities
• Representing various creditors committees and trustees in numerous aspects of bankruptcy litigation
• Representing a manufacturer and distributor of consumer ephedra-based products before the US House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce during investigation into safety and efficacy issues amid consumer class actions and national headline news
• Representing a major international TV network in claims against a program producer for breach of contract, first refusal, and holdback rights relating to the distribution of competing and derivative programming
• Representing physicians in connection with medical practice partnership disputes
• Defending a former medical practice and its physicians in connection with claims concerning accounting and alleged breaches of fiduciary duties
• Representing commercial lenders in connection with breach of contract and guaranty agreement litigation
• Serving alongside colleagues at Arent Fox as mediator in commercial disputes and representing litigants in mediation and arbitration proceedings

Nick received numerous academic honors during his undergraduate education, as he earned his bachelor's degree summa cum laude in criminal justice at Northeastern University after completing the College of Criminal Justice Honors Program. Based on his academic achievement, Nick was honored as the College of Criminal Justice Class Marshall for graduating first in his class.

He was also a member of the Alpha Omega Epsilon and Golden Key National Honor Societies and received the Sears B. Condit and Northeastern University Presidential academic achievement awards.

Nick is proficient in Greek and has composed and performed two CDs of original music. He is also an experienced flair bartender.
