Her recent work has included:

• Managing regulatory matters related to the multistate acquisition of a portfolio of skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living facilities.
• Representing borrowers and third-party operators in obtaining and transferring HUD-insured mortgages for skilled nursing facilities;
• Negotiating a nearly $50 million senior credit facility on behalf of a national health care provider.
• Advising several national durable medical equipment suppliers on DME licensing and the Medicare competitive bidding program.

During law school, Lauren was a research fellow at the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission. While at the School of Foreign Service, she served as an African trade specialist at the Office of the US Trade Representative and interned at the National Security Council in the Office of African Affairs.

Lauren is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association.

Lauren received several honors and awards during her government service including the Presidential Seal in Recognition of Outstanding Service to the Executive Office of the President, Office of the US Trade Representative and a Certificate in Recognition of Extraordinary Performance in support of Public Law 106-200, the African Growth and Opportunity Act from the Office of the US Trade Representative.

Lauren is passionate about traveling and has had the opportunity to visit many countries on five continents. She enjoys reading, dancing, and spending time with her family. Lauren is also proficient in French.
