Since joining Arent Fox, Eleanor has assisted clients in the purchase and sale of commercial properties, including hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, and multifamily residential properties, both locally and nationally. She has also been involved in financings and refinancings for such properties, as well as construction loans. In the leasing area, Eleanor has represented landlords on office leases, particularly nonprofits with additional space in their buildings. Eleanor has also assisted clients in bond financings and mezzanine loans.

Before joining Arent Fox, Eleanor was vice president of asset management for the National Corporation for Housing Partnerships. In this position, she was responsible for structuring and implementing sale and refinancing transactions for the corporation’s multifamily housing portfolio, as well as negotiating debt restructuring for troubled assets.

Eleanor serves on the Programs Committee for DCBIA.

Eleanor enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hunting for modern art and pottery, and listening to alternative music and opera.
