Pat Granados is a counsel in the Intellectual Property and Life Science practice groups. Client WorkPat counsels clients in patent law and technology transfer matters. She prosecutes patents primarily in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and food science. She also advises clients on patent portfolio development and renders various types of opinions, including inventorship, patentability, infringement, and validity opinions. She is experienced in interference and appellate proceedings and is also a registered neutral with the American Arbitration Association. Previous WorkPrior to joining Arent Fox, Pat practiced intellectual property law in a prominent Washington, DC law firm. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Phillip B. Baldwin at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Professional ActivitiesPat is a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania bar associations. She is also a member of the Licensing Executive Society, Association of University Technology Managers, Federal Circuit Bar Association, and American Intellectual Property Law Association.
