Aziz has extensive experience representing clients in all stages of litigation, including client counseling, discovery, taking and defending fact and knowledgeable witness depositions, briefing and arguing summary judgment and other motions, conducting direct and cross-examinations of fact and knowledgeable witnesses at trial, and drafting post-trial and appellate motions and briefs. Aziz has been involved in patent litigation cases involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, Internet security systems, industrial robotics, computer software and hardware and GPS technology. He has also represented clients during mediation hearings and has participated on several appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Prior to joining Arent Fox, Aziz worked in the Washington, DC office of a national law firm. Previously, he was a legal intern to the Honorable Arthur J. Gajarsa of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Before law school, Aziz was a research associate at MedImmune, Inc.

Aziz is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Bar Association.
