Prior to joining Arent Fox, Karolyn was an associate in the real estate practice at a Washington, DC law firm. Before law school, she was an associate at CB Richard Ellis in Chicago, where she managed multimarket transaction management programs, including acquisition and disposition services for office and industrial properties. While there, Karolyn also designed and performed detailed valuation analyses using custom financial models and served as a key member of a strategic team for a manufacturing portfolio disposition assignment.

Karolyn is a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association and the Urband Land Institute Young Leaders Group.
