Craig represents clients in connection with domestic and foreign intellectual property counseling, portfolio management, licensing and litigation.  He has successfully litigated numerous matters, serving as lead counsel in cases involving patent, trademark, trade dress and copyright infringement.  He has extensive experience managing complex intellectual property portfolios for clients ranging from multi-national corporations to emerging entrepreneurial companies.  He has a particularly strong background in implementing successful strategies for maximizing the value of the company’s intellectual property portfolio.  Craig also has significant experience in commercial transactions and litigation.

After earning a bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering, Craig worked as a design engineer in a major telecommunications company designing signal processors for military radar applications. He later served as project manager for one of the largest air traffic control radar contracts with the United States Air Force. From 1999 to 2001, Craig was a special assistant attorney general for the state of Oregon. Prior to joining Arent Fox, he was a partner in the Los Angeles office of a leading international law firm.
