He advises telecommunications carriers, technology companies, content providers, mobile payment companies, app developers and trade associations on all aspects of communications and trade regulation. He also provides strategic policy, compliance, and litigation advice. In addition, Ross counsels clients regarding privacy and data protection issues, including issues regarding federal and state data breach requirements, customer proprietary network information (CPNI), CAN-SPAM and related state regulations, as well as compliance and litigation counseling regarding Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Telemarketing Sales Rule and state telemarketing regulations, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and associated FTC regulations.
