Adam Bowser is an associate in the Communications, Technology and Mobile practice. Adam litigates commercial disputes in federal, state, and administrative tribunals, with a particular emphasis on cases for competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs) and other new entrants against incumbent carriers or regulatory agencies. Adam also serves as outside general counsel to CLECs specializing in the growing VoIP services market, and as part of that role, Adam guides carriers through the federal and state certification process, and negotiates and drafts communications-related contracts, including interconnection agreements, commercial agreements, and tariffs. Adam also advises carriers and equipment manufacturers on regulatory compliance issues concerning telecommunications and energy-efficiency regulations before the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Energy, the Federal Trade Commission and comparable state regulatory agencies, as well as counseling clients in related rulemaking proceedings. Previous WorkPrior to joining Arent Fox, Adam practiced at a large regional law firm, focusing on general business litigation and telecommunications law.
