Prior to joining Arent Fox, Sevan was an associate with a boutique Southern California law firm and has worked as a patent attorney involving patent prosecution in software, electrical, and mechanical arts. He has counseled clients in technical areas including wireless communications (CDMA, GSM/GPRS, WCDMA, LTE, WiMAX), mobile handheld devices, semiconductor device modeling, signal processing, analog and digital systems, audio-visual systems, and software and mechanical devices.

After earning his bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering, Sevan worked as an electrical engineer for a global manufacturer of printing and imaging equipment.
